Our love storystarted with providence working in mysterious ways, continued with ever more clear contours of His plan for us, and became a gift of life beyond our wildest imagination. Let us share with you our miracle love story.

Can one see and feel the future, and yet of it not fully be aware? That is how I see the inception of our story on a Sabbath day in July 2019. Loma Linda University hosted an international conference on health and lifestyle. My friend Patrik and I attended together—enjoying brilliant presentations, reconnecting with old friends and making new, and overall having a great time. As we had done for many days before that Sabbath, Patrik and I were walking back toward the main conference venue when suddenly my eyes caught the sight of a very elegant and tall young lady, talking to one of my friends. Although we just passed them by, my fascination and curiosity made me turn from a polite distance to see just who this mysterious person was. What I saw was a gorgeous young lady, previously unknown to me. I quickly inquired of Patrik if he knew her, but he did not. A sense of bewilderment, perspiration, and a visceral attraction washed over me. “A lady such as she surely must be married,” I told myself. An eternity later, I forced myself to turn around. 

After some time, I connected with the friend I saw speaking to that beautiful, stylish, and tall, yet nameless young lady. Towards the end of our meaningful conversation over a Greek dinner, I couldn’t help but inquire about this mysterious young lady. My friend smiled at me, and...
