Jenn is Kristen's ying to her yang, the mac to her cheese, the french to her fry, the chicken to her nugget, the... you get the point. Jenn is Kristen's (30 minute older) twin sister and yes they both really love food. She is Kristen's best friend and has always been there for her so it's a no brainer she will be standing right by her side on the wedding day.

Kristen and Cassidy met during during nursing school and have been best friends since! They've experienced just about every emotion together and are always there for each-other. They bond over their love of Culvers butterburgers, cold beer, dogs, and country living.

Mary-Kate and Kristen met when they were both freshmen in high school. Together they stuck side by side while dealing with everything that their teenage years had to offer. Mk's eye for design and style for fashion has always impressed Kristen. There is no doubt she will be helping Kristen out on her big day to put the finishing touches on her wedding look.

Kristen and Chaeli met in college. The two walked into the classroom and sat next to each-other both thinking in their heads "i'm going to be friends with this person". Little did they know, after a few conversations they became so close over the next year and bonded over their love of working out, Trader Joes, and Bebe's nails. Kristen also helped Chaeli pick out her first dog, Maggie! Even though the two live in different states, when they see each other it's like they haven't been apart a day.

Bernice and Kristen met when they were working in plastic surgery and have since bonded over going out and their love of animals. The best time they share together is summer of Bernie where they and two other friends would hang out, what feels like every night, and made the best memories. Bernice is the go to friend for giving the best advice and has always been a staple in Kristens life changes.

Abbey is that one friend that is always happy and always smiling. Her laugh is contagious and is always a joy to be around. Abbey and Kristen met while working in plastic surgery and have been inseparable ever since. They made the best memories during "summer of Bern", vacations together, and celebrations of life accomplishments. If it wasn't for Abbey and her family Manuel and Kristen wouldn't have gone to Hawaii together (which kicked off their annual vacation tradition) and they probably wouldn't have the relationship they do now.

Believe it or not, Brittany was Kristen's esthetic school instructor back in the day! Kristen was in Brittany's last class before she left for another job. The two always thought highly of each other but didn't become close until they reconnected a few years later while working in plastic surgery together. Kristen and Brittany are two peas in a pod who think the exact same. They bond over their love of plants and aesthetics. Brittany has always been a great friend and mentor to Kristen and it's such an honor to have her stand up in the wedding party.

Christine is Manuel's younger sister. Her and Kristen lived with Manuel when he had a condo in Ann Arbor. Christine became a second cat mom to Kristen's cat Bane, she also teaches Kristen how to be a better baker (which Kristen can never match up to Christine's cooking) and is always a joy to be around. She enjoys working out and helping people live a healthier lifestyle.

Joe is Manuel’s younger brother, although you wouldn’t have guessed he was the younger brother based on height…and probably maturity, too. Joe is the more practical of the two, always keeping Manuel grounded. When they aren’t trying to outcompete each other for who is smarter, Joe is honing his culinary skills in the kitchen, working on another genius idea or patent for Ford, or learning about the latest and greatest in tech.

Drew has been one of Manuel’s closest friends since Manuel made the trip over the Atlantic from Germany to the great state of Ohio. Drew serves as an inspiration to Manuel in all aspects of life, and he pushes Manuel to be better, whether that’s athletically or in life in general. Drew is like a brother to Manuel, so it’s only fitting that Drew’s family has become a second family to Manuel over the years. Manuel wouldn’t be where he is today without Drew helping him along the way.

Evan was Manuel’s next-door neighbor while growing up in Ohio. Along with Drew, Evan was one of the first friends Manuel met after moving to the US, and the rest is history. From teaching Manuel how to speak English, to playing video games in his parents’ basement, and shooting hoops in the court, the two hit it off quickly. Evan is still one of Manuel’s closest friends throughout all of the years, and the wedding wouldn’t be the same without him.

Greg and Manuel hit it off at an early age ever since Manuel was on Greg’s YMCA basketball team with Greg’s dad as the coach, and their friendship has grown ever since. Manuel has always aspired to be as athletically talented as Greg, and still does today. Greg, along with Drew, has gotten Manuel into running over the years, and for some reason, both continue to convince him that running marathons is a good idea. Manuel is honored to have Greg by his side on the wedding day. Plus, Greg is the life of the party, so someone needs to be in charge of the good times!

Anup was one of Manuel’s medical school roommates and they became close friends right away. Whether bonding over their love for college football and bragging about which or their teams is better…which we all know is Ohio State…playing video games, eating spicy chicken sandwiches, and sometimes studying, Anup made med school fun. Anup is an incredible friend who has always been there for Manuel, so it was a no brainer to have Anup in the wedding party.

Dan is another one of Manuel’s medical school buddies. Although Dan was never one of Manuel’s roommates in med school, it almost seemed like it as he was always over at Manuel, Dustin, and Anup’s condo before they even got home…usually to play FIFA with Nate or to hang out due to being done with his weekly exams while the rest of the group was still in the library studying. Dan joined Manuel, Drew, and Evan on an unforgettable trip a few summers ago to Europe, which would not have been the same without him. Prost!

Dustin was also one of Manuel’s med school roommates and they’ve been great friends since. It’s hard to believe that a simple Facebook post inquiring for roommates among the medical school class could turn into such an awesome friendship. Dustin and Manuel both share a love of sports and crushed intramural sports in med school. Dustin showed Manuel how to eat well during med school, including how to make perfect frozen chicken tenders. Manuel is excited to be able to have Dustin alongside him during the special day.

Nate is also one of Manuel’s med school buddies, and was one of Manuel’s roommates for a year after Dustin moved away for residency. Nate and Manuel got along right away, bonding over their experiences as former collegiate athletes and their interest in orthopaedics. It is surprising though that they got along so well considering Nate being a die-hard Michigan fan while Manuel rooted for the Scarlet and Gray. Nate and Manuel have shared many great times and memories over the years, and the wedding wouldn’t be the same without him standing up alongside Manuel.

Austin is Kristen’s twin sister’s fiancé, and will be Manuel’s brother-in-law in the near future. Austin is a former Marine, avid outdoorsman, and is incredibly handy. He is always willing to give a hand, and even has taught Manuel a thing or two about fishing. Austin helped with Manuel and Kristen’s engagement, and it would not have gone as well as it did without his help. Manuel is looking forward to spending more time and sharing some beers together with Austin once he moves back to Michigan.

Ben has been one of Manuel’s closest friends since high school. Ever since battling it out side-by-side on the football field, to competing together on the wrestling mat, Ben has always been there to push Manuel to be better. Not only is Ben athletically gifted, he is also incredibly smart and one of the most humble people Manuel knows. Because being an All-American wrestler and obtaining an MBA wasn’t enough for Ben, he decided to go back to seminary school to become a pastor in order to better serve people and his communities. Manuel and Kristen are honored to not only have Ben in the wedding party, but to also have him officiate the wedding. Manuel and Kristen couldn’t think of a more perfect person to help them tie the knot.

Kristen met Emily and Katie when she started as an operating room nurse. Over the past year, the three, and their friend Cassidy, have enjoyed numerous dog dates, movie nights, and weekend shenanigans together. The girls are always there for each other and Kristen can't wait to have Katie and Emily lay down the path for her as she prepares to walk down the aisle.
