Adelina and Braydyn both grew up in small town that were only about 20 miles from each other. Braydyn went to school in Hubbard, TX and Adelina attended school in Blooming Grove, TX. Their schools interacted with each other whether it be sports or academic competitions, but they did not quite meet this way. Which was probably for the best since the high school version of Braydyn and Adelina were pretty polar opposites. Braydyn was the all-star football player, swimmer, etc. While Adelina was the quiet girl who avoided having any attention on her at all possible. 

Memorial weekend, 2019 at BSR cable park in Waco, TX, they finally crossed paths when Braydyn floated into Adelina’s life on the lazy river and has never left her side since. After they started talking and getting to know each there, they realized they were on same swim team all the way back in middle school (when Braydyn was too cool to look her way). 

After parting with one another at BSR, Braydyn took Adelina on their first date at his house to meet his family (wow! what a first date). This was to celebrate him signing his contract to join the military. Two months later on July 9, 2019, Braydyn asked Adelina to be his girlfriend after spending the whole summer together. 3 months later, their long-distance relationship began when Braydyn left for boot camp. 

After about 10 plane tickets later on March 20th, 2021, Braydyn asked Adelina to spend the rest of their life together and be his wife. The proposal took place at Torrey Pines State Reserve in California. Although distance has been one of the hardest things to battle through, it has been the most rewarding thing possible for these two.
