Will There Be Cell Phone Reception?

There is no cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort. You will start to lose cell service 20 minutes from the resort. Complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at all times at the Inn. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the facility, no passwords required. Most cell phones have Wi-Fi calling capability. Or there are apps that you can download that use Wi-Fi for calling and messaging.

What Should I Bring?

The wedding location, Full Moon Resort, is nestled in the rustic Catskill Mountains, and check in will begin at 3 pm, two hours before the wedding ceremony. Full Moon has hiking trails nearby, a 6 hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields on the grounds. If you’re interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you. (hiking boots, sneakers, sunscreen, Frisbee, sports gear, bocce ball set, etc.) Also, the evenings can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket or sweater.
• Bathrobe/slippers (some guest rooms have shared/hall baths)
• Toiletries/medicine; the Front Desk has emergency and basic medical equipment (bandaids, tylenol, etc) - nearest pharmacy is approximately 20 minutes from Full Moon.
• Bug spray & Sunscreen
• Flashlight or headlamp (It gets dark in the country)
• Umbrella or raincoat (just in case)

What Are My Options for Lodging at Full Moon Resort?

Lodging at Full Moon Resort is comprised of various houses and cabins. Accommodation styles vary from rooms with shared-hall bathrooms, rooms with private bathrooms, private cabins and even a yurt! Because rooms vary in style, we will assign the guest rooms.

It is important to us to match you in the most appropriate accommodation. Below are the pricing options available at Full Moon. Price ranges include meals for two adults and all taxes/fees. Please let us know on your RSVP which tiers you would be comfortable with us placing you in.

Full Moon will contact you via email to describe your guest package and finalize booking your accommodation after August 29th. There is no need to contact Full Moon prior to August 29th to book a room. Tier 1:

Smaller, quaint rooms available throughout various lodges and houses with shared hallway bathrooms (most rooms have their own sink and mirror in the bedroom) – 24 available (approx. $190-$225)

Tier 2:

Smaller, quaint rooms with private bathrooms available throughout various lodges and houses – 12 available (approx. $225)

Tier 3:

Two bedroom modernized country cottages with living room, smart TV (no cable), kitchenette with mini-fridge – 3 cottages available (approx. $270-$305 per bedroom in a two bedroom cottage);

Larger, newly renovated lodge rooms with private bathrooms – 6 available (approx. $290);

Newly renovated studio with sitting area, smart TV (no cable), mini-fridge and private bathroom – 1 available (approx. $290)

Tier 4:

One bedroom duplex with bedroom upstairs and living room, kitchenette and bathroom downstairs – 1 available (approx. $365);

Private newly renovated studio country cottages with sitting area, smart TV (no cable), bathroom, and kitchenette with mini-fridge – 2 available (approx. $390);


Newly renovated studio with sitting area, smart TV (no cable), kitchenette with mini-fridge and bathroom – 1 available (approx. $420);

Newly built, private luxury cottages with a sitting area, deck, air conditioning, mini-fridge, coffee maker, smart TV (no cable), and over-sized, dual head shower – 10 available (approx. $420)


Yurt:

Tent-like structure with locking door, open room with comfortable furnishings, linens, bedspreads and use of the camper bathroom – 1 available (approx.$180)

Glamping:

Weather proof "Shift Pod" tents with bed, linens, use of camper bathroom – 3 available (approx. $155)

What Does Full Moon Provide For Guests?

Full moon is a rustic lodging facility, not a hotel, but it's quaint, clean, and provides:
• Bath towels
• Bed linens
• Shampoo and soap
• Complimentary teas and coffee in the Valley View House (Main Inn) from the time breakfast is served until the last meal of the day is served
• Complimentary Wireless Internet
• Free long-distance phone service from the Valley View House. Please note: cell phones do not work at Full Moon – There are no cell phone towers in this part of the Forest Preserve

Can I Bring My Pet?

Pets are not allowed at Full Moon. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.

Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?

Personal-stock alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private room, but not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws. There will be drinks served at the wedding reception.

Where Can I Smoke?

All buildings are non-smoking. However, feel free to smoke in outdoor areas. In addition, please do not light candles, incense, or any combustible materials in guest rooms.

What Is The Weather Like in Big Indian, NY?
