Mahalo for stopping by our website! Here, you’ll find all the details for our BIG day! We are so excited and blessed to have you all as part of this special occasion in our lives. Thank you for the love & support throughout the years. Truly, it was, “Meant to be”.
Mike and I met 18 years ago during my Freshman/Sophomore banquet. We were blind dates. I had only talked to him on the phone maybe twice, just to discuss what we would wear for that night. I was so nervous meeting him for the first time because I had never been set up with a blind date before. I remember settling into our seats waiting for the program to start and the seat next to me (Mike's seat) was empty. I thought I was stood up. Our friends looked at me across the table wondering where Mike was. I got even more nervous. Right at the last minute, Mike appears looking like a nervous wreck too! We greeted each other with a smile and I could not help but notice his Winnie the Pooh tie as part of our “black ensemble” outfit that we talked about on the phone. I thought to myself, “What the...”. But I’m not gonna lie, his tie wasn't the only thing I thought was cute that night. After the evening had ended, we said goodbye and had gone our separate ways. A few days later, I get a phone call from Mike pretending to be an unknown caller. I remember getting frustrated with the "caller" going back-and-forth with trying to figure out who it was. When Mike revealed it was him, suddenly I got butterflies in my stomach. Long story short, apparently, Mike thought I was “cute” too. The rest is history...
