Rita met Chris in Philadelphia, PA during their 2015 apprenticeship at the Walnut Street Theatre. Rita had just arrived in Philly, and during her first week, accidentally shut down the theatre's mail processing machine. Panicked, she fled the scene of the crime! Chris, finding the mail machine off, asked Rita what had happened. Rita feigned ignorance, and the two asked a staff member for help. A few goofy happy hours later, the rest is history! At last check, The mail machine continues to operate.
