FAQs

Extra details about our wedding day and surrounding events.

Oh Gosh....... What about the COVID?!?!?!?!

We know there are more variables with our wedding than the usual party during a pandemic. Unfortunately EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE until the pandemic has been eradicated. We want everyone to be safe and protected. Please continue to check the website below for restrictions in Rhode Island, especially if you are traveling from out of state. Please feel free to contact us personally with any questions or concerns. We will be doing our best to make sure we are within the guidelines and party safely.

As of June 1st, 2021, Rhode Island has lifted all restrictions for outdoor events (which we're having - yay!). Masks are not required, but whatever you choose to do, our wedding is a judgement free zone. Our caterer and event staff will be following all of the current guidelines for safety.

Can I bring a plus one?

Weddings are hard to plan y'all, and we did it all ourselves, if we missed someone please don't be offended, just ask! While we would love for everyone possible to attend our big day, we've addressed invitations to the people (or family of people) expected to attend. We would kindly ask that any requests for a +1 be emailed to us at gobrallace@gmail.com, if we are able to make accommodations, we will.

Are kids welcome?

This will be dependent on the restrictions and guidelines of the state for maximum number of people at a gathering. We would love to have everyone! Aren't we all just big kids anyway?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is a large grassy area in which to park.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception are BOTH outdoors, with the help of a lovely tent.

Will there be dancing?

You bet your booty there will be! The bride will find you and make you dance with her. This is her dream.

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

The Beach! Welcome to our little sneaky seaside. There are a number of beaches in the area. Most require either a pass or entrance fee, so be sure to bring cash.

There are a number of great restaurants in Wakefield/Narragansett for all walks of life. Iggy's, Chair 5, Crazy Burger, The Mews, Dragon Palace, Cool Beans Cafe, CafBar, Trio, Coast Guard House, The Ocean Mist, The Pub in Matunuk, Matunuk Oyster Bar, .....the list goes on.

There is also a bike/walking trail throughout town. A portion crosses to Main St. with lots of little shops and eateries along the river.

If you're feeling adventurous, Newport is a quick jaunt over the bridge. Go tour some glitzy historic mansions on the water. You can also traverse the Cliffwalk for free, or enjoy the 10 miles of coastline cruising Ocean Drive.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Of course! We just ask that during the ceremony you remain in your seat and be discreet about photos. We hired an amazing professional to capture the entire event so you don't have to, and we are happy to share the photos with you. If you do post on social media, please obtain permission from all those in the pictures, tag us, and use our hashtag #GoBrallace

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

The best way to contact us is either by text message, phone call or at our joint wedding email address GoBrallace@gmail.com
