I just made a few edits🖤: I had just gotten back into town with his mom and sister from a ladies church retreat. All morning, everyone kept saying “I hear, after ladies retreat, life-changing things happen at church” and I totally didn’t think anything about it except a potential powerful service! At the end of the service, Drew told me he wanted our Pastor and Pastor’s wife to pray with us, as we were beginning a new phase of our life. That new phase included announcing to our friends and church family that we are moving to Illinois to open our first gym in less than two weeks, so everyone was very thrilled to be in on our “group prayer.” Little did I know that Drew had been planning this with our Pastor for weeks and that one prayer would lead to a PROPOSAL! Some of my family, friends, Pastors, and Pastors wives were all praying with us and right when we finished Drew got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! When I turned around, my best friend of 15 years, Chelsea Towns, was standing behind me! She drove 2.5 hours, one way, just to be there for our special moment. Along with her, our amazing photographers, Darryl and Heather Wilson, surprised me and caught the whole thing on camera. I truly couldn’t have asked for any greater blessing!
