Daniel and I met while studying abroad in Rome in the summer of 2016. We fell in love almost instantly. Our first date was dinner in front of the Trevi Fountain, second date he cooked for me, and by the time we were flying to Paris for our third date we had already exchanged I love you's and every one of my friends back home knew that I had met the man I thought I'd marry.

After my parents dashed my plans of skipping my flight and traveling with this mystery man for another month, I headed stateside and hoped that wouldn't be the last time I ever saw Daniel Brahler. Thankfully it seems he was as smitten as me and we quickly made plans for Dan to visit Pawleys Island on his way down to Miami for his Senior year. After a 10 day stay in Castello di Wilkinson, my mom pulled me aside and asked "who is this guy? what are y'all?" To which I responded, "I don't know but I think I'm in love with him." Almost 7 years and a whole lot of life later we are ready to make it official in our favorite country!
