Lauren and Vince met through mutual friends at an anime convention in 2010 and ended up cosplaying together in November of 2011 (we dressed up as Adventure Time characters) and started talking a bunch afterwards. Vince managed to win Lauren over text messages and video chats. They officially got together the day after Vince's birthday in 2011 and have been together since.

They currently live together with their cat-son Pakko in Andersonville on the North-side of Chicago. Over almost ten years they've been together, Lauren and Vince have bounced to numerous conventions, gone on many adventures and were finally able to make their dream trip to Japan in 2018. 

2020 was a crazy year for pretty much everyone involved, including our glorious couple. They had to postpone the original date for the wedding so that they could celebrate with everyone but they also wanted to keep their wedding date (and cheap out on taxes) so they got married in a small ceremony on Oct. 10th 2020 with just their immediate family, so they're extra excited to party with all of their loved ones later this year. They continue to live happy, nerdy lives eating everything they can find.
