FAQs

Extra details about our wedding day and surrounding events.

When should I RSVP by?

We would LOVE it if you RSVP by the time you get your invitation in the mail! The sooner the better! If you do not know if you can attend right away, please let us know by November 1st!

Can I bring a plus one?

Singles, you may absolutely bring a plus one! Weddings are more fun when you are not alone!
Families, just let us know how many in your immediate family are attending!
There will be a section for you to mark how many people are coming! This allows us to make sure we have enough seats and food for everyone!

Are kids welcome?

If you know the bride at all, you know she LOVES children! Of course the couple would love for your kids to be apart of our special day!

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

The entire wedding will take place indoors in the banquet hall! The only time you will be outside is if you choose to make a s'more at the fire pit outside, but it is not a requirement!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is parking right in front of the banquet hall! However, we ask that you take the side entrance and not the front entrance! There will be a place set up for guests to sign in in the lobby area on that entrance.

Will there be dancing?

Yes, there will be dancing! Dancing may not be "lit" like some would describe it, but we will definitely have at least two group dances including The Cupid Shuffle and the Cha Cha Slide as well as the traditional mother/son and daddy/daughter dances.

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

I highly recommend going to Spinners in Florence especially if you have kids or a family! There is skating, arcade, and bowling! Some of mine and James's favorite places to eat are Primo's in Flowood, Keifer's in Jackson, and Genna Benna's in Brandon which also has a delicious bakery and is the same location where he proposed! If you are looking for shopping especially to get last minute Christmas gifts, Floowood has a ton of shops as well as the Pearl outlet Mall.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We would love it if you shared our special day on social media! However, we do ask that you save your photography for the reception only! We have hired an AMAZING photographer to capture every single second of the ceremony, so we ask that you do not take any pictures during this time!

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

If you have questions, feel free to text the bride or groom! If you know family or anyone in the wedding party, we ask that you reach out to them firs due to the increasing amount of questions asked especially the closer we get to the wedding. However, if you cannot find your answer after that, we will be happy to help!

What will the guest gifts be?

This is one of our favorite surprises, because it is not traditional at all! Our guests gifts will include something personal for YOU! Not just candy or a typical cozie, but we will have a cartoon artist to draw you or you family... You get a personalized picture while all dresses up to remember this day with us for the rest of your lives! The cartoonist will only be present from 5-7pm that night, so make time to stop by!
