Spring of 2016, I pointed at this handsome guy walking into the student ministry building and said to Felipe (our youth pastor) "Felipe, i am gonna marry that guy, can you introduce me?" And of course Felipe laughed but ended up introducing us and from there we went from strangers to best friends who serve in the same church. We began dating officially in October of 2016 and decided the spring of 2017 we wanted to take time apart and be friends. But God had other plans, winter of 2018 going into 2019 we chose to give dating another shot, and in my head I still knew I was going to marry this guy, while dating we were still serving which became a big part of our relationship. We always supported each other on anything. His summer mission trip to San Francisco and my trips to Haiti, being apart made us realize how much we really liked eachother. June of 2020 Angel popped the question and surrounded by our friends and family i said Yes! and here we are today. I knew I was gonna marry him, it just took some time for him to realize it too.
