Katrina and Noah "met" at St. Paul's church in 2023. (Though they have never actually been introduced to each other!)

Katrina had moved to Orlando to attend Reformation Bible College in August of 2023 and started attending St. Paul's, where Noah has attended since 2018. Their first real conversation with each other took place in March, when some St. Paul's young adults went canoeing together and Noah and Katrina ended up in the same canoe. It turns out being stuck in a canoe together for two hours is a great way to get to know someone, and Noah asked Katrina out on a date just three weeks later.

The couple spent the next ten months meeting family, discussing theology, and learning to love each other. While dating they were excited to find that they share many common loves. For example, they both enjoy reading books out loud, hiking (especially real hiking in Washington), cooking meals, and singing hymns.

Noah proposed the day AFTER Valentine's Day at Bok Tower Gardens just before the ringing of the carillon bells. She said yes!

We are so excited to be starting our life together in Orlando and can't wait to celebrate with you all in Washington!
