October 2015: Ryan Velasquez meets Nicole Wypychowski while on vacation at a pub crawl in Berlin on Halloween night. Ryan is so swept away by Nicole, he changes his pre-planned Euro trip to visit her in Basel, Switzerland (where she was living at the time) for their first "date." 

December 2015: After staying in touch across the Atlantic via whatsapp, Nicole visits Ryan in Los Angeles for 2 weeks. They meet each other's friends/families, dance all night at a Kaskade concert, go to Harry Potter World, and fall crazy in love. By the end of the trip, Ryan asks Nicole to "go steady."  

February 2017: They make long distance work from L.A. to Switzerland for a year, until Nicole (a 9 out of 10 on the cleanliness scale) finally moves in with Ryan (a 2 out of 10 on the cleanliness scale). Over the next few months, Ryan forces himself to become a 5 out of 10 so Nicole doesn't break up with him.

July 2018: The two rescue a then 7-year old pup named Luna. She quickly becomes the love of their lives as they spend all their spare time cuddling her, feeding her Greenies treats and stopping her from lunging after other dogs on walks.

June 2019: Nicole is accepted into a Physician Associate program in New York, so Ryan quits his job and they move to the east coast together for an exciting, new adventure.

July 2020: After 5 years of dating, 3 cities, 1 dog, and countless memories, Ryan pops "the question" in front of a garbage can on a random, dirty sidewalk in Brooklyn. Nicole says "yes" (thank god).

May 2022: Ryan locks Nicole down for life in front of their friends and family, kickstarting the next chapter of their lives #OperationMakeABaby
