We met in 2015 in Minneapolis while we were both attending the University of Minnesota. Things started casual - our first date was at a library on campus in sweatpants and hoodies - but before long, we were skipping class to spend more time with each other, spending practically every night eating dinner together, and attempting to visit every restaurant in the Twin Cities (we were budding foodies at this point).

Just after graduation in 2017, when Scott learned he had been offered a job in Seattle, we decided to take the leap and move out there together. We lived in Seattle for four years, adopted our goldendoodle Alma, and created a few friendships that will last our lifetimes. In 2021, another job opportunity came along and we moved to Orange County, California, where we currently live. In July of 2022, we decided to make things "official", as they say, so we booked a couples massage at the nicest resort we could find and declared ourselves as engaged.

It's wild to think we've been together for over seven years, because that sounds so long but it's felt so short. We're excited and ready to take the next step, and we're so so grateful you'll be there to celebrate with us! Now, all that stands between us and happiness forever is…LAX. On a weekend. In Summer. God help us.
