Jacob was stationed in Germany with the United States Army and Megan was studying abroad in Spain. Jacob found her Instagram and messaged her. They texted for 6 months before finally meeting on Alki in West Seattle. They walked, talked and laughed for hours. By the time they had to leave eachother, they had walked half a marathon. Two weeks later they decided to give long distance a try. One deployment, a cross country move and 4 years of many laughs & memories later, Jacob was down on one knee asking Megan "to make him the happiest man in the world" and marry him.
