ADAM: In Jan. 2018, there was a new person working at the front desk who definitely caught my eye! I saw Elizabeth pretty regularly, so I introduced myself. I started doing interviews & needed to call her more frequently for scheduling. Naturally, it seemed far more efficient (for work!) for her to have my cell phone number, so we exchanged numbers! We were texting often for work, but once Elizabeth texted me outside of work, it confirmed this could be more! Several attempts to get together didn't work out, until one night in March I met Elizabeth in Portsmouth for drinks. We stayed & talked for a long time; way later than I expected! Elizabeth suggested going to Gilley's afterwards, & I love Gilley's; just another indication!
ELIZABETH: Our first year together we had a lot of fun getting to know each other & enjoying each other's company-we saw Jon Legend, went on our first trip together to Amelia Island, FL, & we met each other's families. After being together for just under 1 yr., we moved in together & shared a great apartment in downtown Portsmouth. One year later we moved into Seabrook. It was fun making the house our own through a variety of DIY projects. Within 2 mos. of relocating, COVID hit. During COVID, we spent a lot of time together-both at work & home. We were together all the time & enjoyed it!
When travel re-opened in May 2021, we planned a trip to the Bahamas. While on vacation, Adam planned a visit to the Versaille Gardens, where he proposed. Adam had pre-arranged having a photographer (who was hiding in the bushes) & a catamaran ride around the harbor after!
Knowing how well the 1st 4 yrs. have gone, we can't wait for what's next!
