Joseph and Nicole met during a blistering hot summer day of August 19, 2017. They both agreed to help Mary (Joseph's sister, now Nicole's sister-in-law) move into her new apartment. Little did they know...

Nicole and Joseph re-met at Fish Camp where Joseph tried to ask her to dance but Edwurder asked first. (Joseph has never forgiven him). BUT...Edward also invited Nicole to the Clemson game with Joseph where they had lots of fun together. Later, they attended the Ole Miss game with their older siblings Mary and Jacob. You could say that Aggie Football brought Joseph and Nicole together.

Joseph and Nicole began spending more time together, and despite Joseph telling his Dad one day at Chuy's that he was not going to develop feelings for Nicole, he did. He knew that she was the one for him when she was able to beat him at Ping-Pong (only a few times, Joseph still remains the overall champ) and was able to eat an entire spoonful of cinnamon. She knew that he was the one for her when she discovered that his uncomfortable shifting back in forth on his seat was him trying to hold in a fart.

They began dating on January 10, 2019 when Joseph took Nicole to a burger joint called Carroll's in Navasota, TX. They prayed their first Rosary together at a Marian grotto in Navasota that same evening. Two and a half years later, on August 7, 2021, they recreated that date and Joseph asked Nicole to be his wife after praying their last Rosary as a dating couple.

Both Joseph and Nicole are counting down the days to June 18th and are so excited for where the rest of their story will lead them...
