Gavin and Kaylee met in Ensenada, Mexico during the fall of 2020. Kaylee was living in Ensenada at the time and Gavin came down for the weekend with his family to build a house. After six months of being "intentional friends", Gavin asked Kaylee to be his girlfriend at the lookout point that has a beautiful view of all of Ensenada and the bay. In that same spot, Gavin proposed after singing Kaylee a song he wrote to her. It was the picture perfect moment.
