God loved us enough to send us each other. Our love story is no fairy tale, no butterflies, just a Guy who met a Girl & they fell in love with open hearts, minds, and a world full of possibilities! 

We met as coworkers at Northern Home. We'd sit and talk about our children. After I left the job Khan found me on FB. Our 1st date was on 03/19/17 to Roxbourgh Seafood. Nothing fancy. We had fun, we were the male and female version of each other. After our 1st date we became inseparable and it's been one big date ever since.  

It wasn't all peaches and cream as I did things to sabatoge this relationship. Khan let me know that he knew I wasn't perfect and that it was ok for me to fall short and even fail at times. At those times he'd be there with his big smile to catch me. His patience is unmatched!

I knew she was the one because what's important to me is important to her. She believes in me and supports my goals. 

It all came full circle when we found out that we had been in Dana & Yuseff's wedding years ago. Khan was telling Yuseff that I was "The One" and showed him my picture. Yuseff searched his phone to find his wedding video to show Khan pictures of me from their wedding. Khan replied, "Yup that's my baby". After dating for 2 years Khan proposed on 03/30/19. And I said yes. 

Proposal 

Khan: Your ring is in the house 

Aisha: Got out of the car to find ring. Returned with ring on 

Khan: Looked surprised and drove off

Aisha & Khan: Laughed as we often do thinking this wasn't how that was supposed to go! 

Just like that we were engaged. No fairytale, no butterflies, just a guy who met a girl and they fell in love with open hearts, minds, and a world full of possibilities!
