Travel:
We know guests are driving or flying to Convict Lake and it can be a little confusing if you've never done it before! If you're flying in, we recommend landing in Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) if you're coming from abroad. Once in RNO you can rent a car and take the 395 to your destination ~2 1/2 hours away. If coming in from LAX you can either get a connecting flight to RNO or Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) and rent a car, or drive from LAX ~5 hours on the 395 to your destination.
Lodging:
We recommend our guests stay in Mammoth Lakes, which is only a 15 minute drive from the wedding, or at the cabins at Convict Lake Resort. There is also a dry campground, Convict Lake Campground, just yards away from the resort if that's more your speed.
If you're wanting to stay at Convict Lake there are cabins available that sleep 2, 4, 6, 11, and 34 people. The cabins are being held for wedding guests and are not available to the general public until 6 months before the wedding. This will make getting a reservation easier for you if you call 760-934-3800 and mention you're a guest of Bryan and Camila's wedding! (See below for more information)
Mammoth is a winter sport resort town, making it a popular destination for people doing all sorts of activities! There are a lot of lodges, hotels, resorts, inns, RV/tent campsites, and AirBnB's to choose from. But prices can shoot up closer to snow season so don't wait too long to get lodging!
Here are just a few recommendations to choose from:
