We're so exicted to share our love and our wedding day with friends and family! It's been a long time for many of us in isolation, and we're well overdue for a party. Fall colors, good food and drink, and many friends will be a very welcome sight for all of us, I imagine.
Much to our ongoing dismay, the global struggle with covid is still painfully relevant. This may also be a sensitive subject for some and although we love and appreciate you all, we want to see as many of you as possible including more vulnerable groups- therefore we respectfully require that all attendees be fully vaccinated before the wedding.
This applies for all adults, and also children.
There is still some risk even with the vaccine, especially for those across the pond! If you are not comfortable flying or joining a large gathering we completely understand! If this year simply isn't feasible for you to join us, it may be possible for us to take a trip to England and/or France next year to see those who cannot make it in person. (That conversation is ongoing and subject to popular demand!)
In the meantime, we'd love to hear from you, and look forwarding to seeing everyone who is able to attend on the wedding day.
The feel for the day is English tea party - Downton Abby inspired, PNW flair, and fall colors. Please wear comfortable shoes, bring your party hat, and let's get married!
You all know us, no big surprises here.
It all started with a glass of beer and the Garden of D'Lights!
Early Memories:
At Christmas, only a few weeks after meeting for the first time, Tim was very eager to show his parents a picture of Emily. She was (and is) so pretty!
Later Emily smuggled tea into the movie theater and impressed Tim with her resourcefulness and excellent taste. We were so interested in each other that we have no idea what the movie was. The tea was good, though.
The first time Emily came to visit Tim at home he cooked a fabulous meal, then followed dinner with a cringeworthy viewing of Faulty Towers. Awkward British humor sealed the deal.
Now here we are, years later (who's counting?!) and Emily and Tim have moved into their first house together. We cannot wait to begin this new chapter in our lives, and are so ready to share our happy day with everyone!
