FAQs

Extra details about our wedding day and surrounding events.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than 10/4

Are kids welcome?

Please do not bring anyone who is not fully vaccinated, including kids who are too young for the vaccine.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Plan A is for the ceremony to be outdoors overlooking the lake. It's a short walk from the main building, on gently sloping grass. Please wear comfortable shoes for the weather and terrain.

Plan B will have the ceremony indoors. The venue has stairs (spiral staircase) to get to the mezzanine and the lower level for bride/groom rooms, but otherwise is flat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! There is ample parking and it's free. You can park anywhere around the building. The ceremony and reception are at the same location, so you won't need to move once parked.

Will there be dancing?

Absolutely. I've been promised a conga line, so bring your dancing shoes and a shot of espresso, we're gonna boogie.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We are asking for the day to be "unplugged". We are paying some really wonderful photographers and love their work, and we'd rather see your faces than the backs of your phones.

We can arrive early. What should we do?

There may be setup you can help with if you'd like, but this venue has beautiful grounds. It's inside a public park and has a variety of garden areas for a peaceful stroll through the woods, flower gardens, or around the lake.

Tea and coffee will be set up before the ceremony as well so you can have a warm cuppa as everyone arrives.

What should I wear?

If you want to match the bride then aim for a Downton Abby feel. Floor length dresses preferred (not required) and dinner jackets for the gents.

Party hats are always encouraged wherever we go, and dancing shoes are a must.
