The story of how we met usually changes depending on who tells it. If you ask Ashton, he'll say they met when Laura was moving into her dorm freshman year and he was helping the girlfriend of his pledge brother move in. Laura swears, however, they met weeks later at a Sigma Nu frat party. 

Regardless, we spent the next four years running into each other at the numerous KU staples like The Wheel, The Hawk, and The Ranch (RIP) and while Ashton says Laura never gave him the time of day, Laura insists she was nicer than that. But, it wasn't until a few years after college that we both found ourselves single and on Bumble and after a simple swipe right...the rest is history!

Fast forward about three years later, Ashton took Laura to the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff, Canada, and popped the question.
