Thankfully COVID numbers seem to be on the decline here (and most places) which is great news! But, it's still here, it sucks, and we're doing our best to make everyone feel comfortable. Hosting a wedding during these times is challenging, but with a team effort (that means you!) we can make this happen safely!
We're excited to share that Lisa is pregnant! There are also some family members/friends attending the wedding who are at a higher risk for illness. Given this, we are asking everyone to do their part :)
In this spirit, we are asking you to please take a COVID rapid test on Saturday before arriving at the wedding.
Why?
-- It will decrease the likelihood of guests attending while contagious
-- It will bring peace of mind to our high-risk friends and family
-- It will allow us to see and photograph your smiles :)
-- It will let us hear each other clearly
How? We realize that acquiring and taking a rapid test may seem like a burden, but they are easy to use and acquire.
-- Each household can receive four free rapid tests at
https://www.covidtests.gov/.-- Many retailers sell them online including CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart (make sure to only choose one that offers results At Home in 10-15 minutes), and Costco (if you need some in bulk).
-- You may be able to find them in these stores as well.
If you cannot or do not want to take a rapid test, we ask that you bring a mask and wear it while inside the museum.
Thank you so much for helping us make this event possible during these crazy times!
