Trevor and Nikki met at the very end of their senior year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo...

Their paths crossed a few times over the course of their college years, but the fateful "reintroduction" can be attributed to Miles Fairchild that March, Trevor's roommate and now groomsman.

The day they truly connected was at the infamous 6:00 a.m. bar crawl on St. Patrick's Day 2013, where they bonded over an all-day hangout starting at the Rec Center pool and sand volleyball courts to an afternoon of waterballooning neighbors from the boys' roof to an evening of Habit hamburgers and cocktails downtown and making a very lame joke about being "adventure partners" for the rest of senior year.

"Adventure partners" quickly took on a new meaning as they immediately found so much in common - their love of meatloaf, ribeye steaks, whiskey, sports, but mostly dogs - and realized their future plans aligned very well as they both were hoping to travel to Europe after graduation, work in San Francisco, and eventually settle down in Southern California.

Fast forward 6 and 1/2 years - wait... that isn't fast. But, nonetheless, December 7, 2019 was the day Trevor surprised Nikki with a weekend trip to San Luis Obispo that turned into a very joy-filled and memorable getaway. To sum it all up, it included a gorgeous ring, a heartfelt question at the top of Prefumo Canyon, a lot of happy tears (if anyone knows Nikki) and a lot of toasts with the Tobias and Shuberts throughout the evening. 

Let's just say sometimes the long game is the right play.

Anyways, Trevor and Nikki truly did fulfill their goal of being adventure partners as they traveled the world together - whether it was to see a Dolphins football game in Miami, or drink Guinness in Ireland, or obsessively search for sloths and monkeys in Costa Rica - and are so excited to continue their adventures together for the rest of their life now as a married couple!
