While the debate remains on who initiated the first kiss one thing is for certain, it was meant to be from that moment on!

We met when Emily came to work for the office where Lauren had been working for a few years. A friendship began forming after the first few months of trying to figure out if we actually liked working together, which apparently we did! For the next three years, we became the best of friends, laughing, crying, eating, and talking about our dreams for the future.

After Emily moved onto a new job, we realized we missed spending nearly all of our time together and had a long talk about what that meant. For us it meant a date with a promise that if it was awful we would laugh it off and continue being best friends. The date was a dream come true and after the debated kiss we both knew that our friendship was changed forever, for the better!

Over the last year our love has grown over our shared love of card games, our babies (Gilly and Henley), vinyl records, and all things 70's classic rock, particulary the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Queen.

We are so incredibly fortunate to have found each other and this love that has conquered so much in so little time, including a pandemic that has us working from home with two crazy dogs!
