Elizabeth is Emily's younger and only sister. They have been through absolutely everything together and are much closer now than they were as angsty children. Elizabeth has been Emily's built-in best friend since before either can remember and Emily can't imagine her big day without Elizabeth as her Maid of Honor.

Brian and Lauren have been friends since before either can remember. Early memories include elementary school chorus, for which one was present to sing and the other was there because it meant a trip to Six Flags at the end of the year, middle school years filled with questionable hairstyles and clothings choices, and high school wake up calls! Many years later the conversations have changed but the love has not. Regardless of where life has taken them over the years Brian has remained Lauren's best friend, family, Stevens Creeker, and fellow lover of all things Disney!
Fun fact: Lauren's grandfather taught Brian's mom in x-ray/nuclear medicine school so our families have been connected far beyond our lifetimes!

Emily and Samantha met the first week of sixth grade and became inseparable all through middle and high school. Through middle school shenanigans, prom, music festivals, and Samantha's own wedding, the two have always shared their love of travel and their silly sense of humor.

Haley and Lauren met while working together at USC. A shared love of snarky jokes and sarcasm bonded them during their working days and has continued in the years since. Summers of trivia nights with repeatedly losing outcomes never seemed to matter as the time spent together was the best part.

As the husband of Lauren's oldest friend, Tim married into the madness! From the first time they met Lauren knew two things about Tim. First that he was Brian's absolute perfect match and second that he was the most patient human she had ever met. In the years since that first meeting Tim has become a voice of calm, a source of laughter, and also the best "brother-in-law" that Lauren could have ever hoped for.

The first time Rebecca and Lauren met was Lauren's first day as a University 101 Instructor and Rebecca's first week of college. On that day Lauren would have never imagined that one of her now dearest friends was sitting in that room. Rebecca and Lauren have laughed, cried, and everything in between as the years have passed. Their friendship started in the least likely of situations but has grown into a friendship Lauren can't imagine living without.

Lauren's first memory of Rebecca was the week she was born. Being the older cousin Lauren got to "babysit" Rebecca which typically ended up being lots of Disney movies, chocolate, and no bedtime! Many years have passed since those days but many say cousins are your first best friends and they are right. The fortunate ones can still call their cousin a best friend into their adult years and Lauren is fortunate enough to have that in Rebecca.

Lara and Emily likely met soon after Lara's birth, but they became the closest after reconnecting while at UofSC. Even at the most boring family gathering, Lara is knows how to bring the fun and is always there to lift your spirits. Emily is so excited their friendship has grown so strong over the last few years and is so happy to have Lara by her side on the big day!

While they knew of each other in high school, Jackie and Emily didn't become best friends until their first year of college. Even through a disastrous roommate situation, they've remained best friends by combining laughter, their love of Scary Movies & Cheesy Bread, and their very own Quarantine Book Club. Emily is equally as excited for Jackie to be her bridesmaid as she is to be Jackie's (soon to be) Matron of Honor!

Allie and Emily met on Carolina Marching Band field and then again at a sorority recruitment event during their first-year of college. The two became accidental neighbors their second year, spent almost everyday together, and became on-purpose roommates the next year. Their shared love of screaming along to emo music (with some One Direction sprinkled in), dancing at Tin Roof, and watching The Bachelor are just a few of things that have bonded them for life.

Over the last several years, Rebekah has become a trusted friend and ally to both Lauren and Emily. It's important to have people in your life that will stand by you but also push you to find your best self and Rebekah is the epitome of that. In preparation for her tenure as Senator and President, Lauren is teaching Rebekah to play golf in exchange for chef level cooking lessons! Lauren may finally get to play Augusta National once Rebekah becomes President.

Better known as our "son," Matt has been a huge part of Emily and Lauren's lives for several years. As our southern California transplant, we have had the honor to be Matt's east coast family, particularly in the early morning hours when his actual family is still soundly sleeping at home in San Diego. Our favorite parts of the week are our almost daily chats where we get Matt's update of what's going on in the world. He is likely the one person that prefers Lauren's cooking over Emily's but that's only because of his obsession with her buffalo chicken dip!
